Take home life-long memories of a thrilling wildlife encounter on the North Shore Shark Adventure Cruise, Oahu's original shark tour. Departing from Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor on Oahu's beautiful North Shore, you may see Hawaiian Green Sea turtles, dolphins and humpback whales (depending on the season) during the 3 mile cruise to your shark-filled destination. Once the boat arrives in the area, the shark cage is placed in the water. The cage floats on the surface of the water and you have the option to get in the cage for an underwater encounter with the ocean's apex predator. The water is cobalt blue and visibility is approximately 200 feet or more so you can actually see the sharks come up from the deep. The cage itself holds two people very comfortably, however can hold up to four people at a time, depending on the weather conditions. If you do not wish to enter the shark cage, there will still be ample surface viewing opportunities as the sharks circle the boat.                        

The sharks commonly sighted on the North Shore Shark Adventure Cruise include the gray reef, Galapagos, sandbar and hammerhead, ranging in size from 5 feet to 15 feet. These sharks will swim only inches away from the cage! If you choose to enter the cage you will spend approx. 20 - 30 minutes in the water viewing these magnificent animals up close. The safety of passengers is the number one priority and a safety briefing is given at the start of the tour. You may bring your own mask and snorkel, however, fins are not necessary. Masks and snorkels are also provided on the vessel. You are encouraged to bring an underwater camera as you will be able to get some of the best photographs of sharks possible anywhere in Hawaii.
