Once a sacred Mayan site, Xcaret is now an eco park and one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Riviera Maya. The park has water activities, shows and cultural experiences, native flora and fauna exhibits, and is fun for all ages. There are so many choices, it is hard to do them all in a day.  Don't miss the sea turtle farm, the underground river tube ride and the evening Mayan and Mexican folklore show.  All this adds up to an outstanding day of activity and culture.

There are signs for Xcaret all over Cancun and the Riviera Maya and all hotels can set you up to have the colorfully-decorated Xcaret bus pick you up and take you to the ruins. If you are staying in the Playa del Carmen area, a taxi may be more convenient, and you can return to your hotel at the end of the day activities and go back for the must see evening show. If you are driving, there is plenty of parking.
