Shipwreck Bar

As the story goes, the original resort owners of Kona Village Resort pulled the hull of their ship the New Moon that had run aground and sank in Kahuwai Bay, out of the water with plans to convert it into the resort bar. The workers pulled the hull as far as they could, fatigue overcame them and the current day location of the Shipwreck Bar was born; a perfect place for a romantic pre-dinner cocktail.
