This quaint, 12-room inn near the Roman Forum reflects the old world history of Rome, but with modern amenities. The spacious rooms, each uniquely decorated have terra-cotta floors, large granite basin sinks, and many have Jacuzzi tubs. In fact, you may prefer one of the superior rooms for their more high-end accommodations. The Inn also has a 2,000-year-old crypt right there on the property, as well as pink-walled terraces, gardens with fig, olive and lemon trees,  sitting areas, and a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy breakfast or lunch.
Why You’ll Love It
It's pretty damn cool—if not a little creepy—to have a cryptoporticus right there on the premises. This crypt with its stone carvings was formerly of the Trajan Marketplace.
Why She’ll Love It
It's small and quaint, so you’ll feel like you have the place to yourself, away from some of the bustle of larger hotels in big-city room. Also, Rome is known for having fairly small hotel rooms, but the ones at the Inn are relatively spacious.
