Location, location, location! The luxe Grand Hotel de la Minerve sits in a square between the Pantheon and the Church of Santa Maria Sopra Minerve (hence the name!), and is just a short walk from the Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. So there’s no excuse not to get out and see the sights. Although housed in a 17th century palace, the hotel has been renovated in a modern style with a sleek lobby and updated guest rooms with Italian furnishings. The roof garden terrace will blow her mind. You literally feel like you could reach out and touch the dome of the Pantheon, it's THAT close. You also get a front row view of St. Ivo's Borromini dome and can look down on Bernini's elephant in the square. The hotel itself also houses an impressive collection of sculptures by Rinaldi.
